From the first time on skis to the more daring turns – our children’s slopes, ski school, and gentle lifts make learning to ski fun and safe.
At Idre Himmelfjäll’s ski school, children learn to ski in a safe environment with playful and dedicated ski instructors. Here, joy, confidence, and lifelong memories are created.
We learn through play – so that children discover the feeling of freedom in the snow without pressure. Whether it’s standing on skis for the very first time or daring to try slightly steeper slopes, we find the right level for each child. With 24 runs of varying difficulty levels and lengths, there is something for everyone – from beginners to experienced skiers.

Ski school is available for all ages, both in groups or privately.

Free lift ticket for children 0-7 years old if they wear a helmet.

With us, Flinga turns the mountains into children’s own world
When it crunches under your shoes on cold winter days, when small snow clouds swirl on the slopes, and when the children wobble on their skis but suddenly regain their balance and make it down seemingly without help. Then it may be the snow fairy Flinga who has a finger in the game.
She is here at Idre Himmelfjäll, right in nature and right among us, and sometimes she also appears in the children’s area. With us, the mountain vacation becomes an adventure for the whole family.
