Welcome to Idre Himmelfjäll, one of Sweden's newest ski resorts in northern Dalarna. Here, varied skiing awaits in a beautiful mountain setting with slopes for beginners, families, and experienced skiers alike.
With accommodations close to the slopes and a modern lift system, it's easy to head out onto the pistes and enjoy the mountains from the first run in the morning to the last turn in the afternoon.
Skiing for all levels
In the ski area, you'll find 24 runs and 10 lifts that give you plenty of variety during your ski vacation. There are slopes of several difficulty levels here—from green beginner slopes to more challenging red runs and a black run.
The varied terrain means that both children and adults can find their favorite slopes. For families, there are several gentle runs where children can practice and build confidence in their skiing.

Perfect for the family vacation
Idre Himmelfjäll is built with families in mind. Here you will find wide slopes, calm areas for beginners, and several activities for children. The area is also easy to navigate, which makes both young and old skiers feel safe on the slopes.
For the very youngest, there is Flingas children's area, where children can take their first turns in a playful and safe environment.
