Lifts, slopes, and trail map – experience skiing at Idre Himmelfjäll

At Idre Himmelfjäll, you’ll find a ski area created with care — where nature, community, and the joy of skiing are at the center. Here, well-groomed slopes await both children, beginners, and experienced skiers. On our trail map, you can see the entire resort with lifts, runs, and cross-country trails, so you can easily plan your day on the mountain.

Slopes for the whole family

Idre Himmelfjäll offers varied skiing across 24 runs — from gentle green slopes for the youngest to red and black runs for those seeking more of a challenge. The slopes wind naturally between mountain forest and open expanses, creating a calm and beautiful environment to ski in. Thanks to the close-to-nature setting, you avoid crowds and get an authentic mountain experience, perfect for families with children who want to ski together at a safe pace. On the trail map, you get an overview of the ski area and can plan your day on the mountain.

High-capacity lifts

The resort has 10 modern lifts that quickly take you up the mountain. Most slopes have direct access to a chairlift or T-bar lift, and several areas offer ski in/ski out. Here, you avoid long lines — instead, you get more time for what matters most: skiing, socializing, and enjoying the mountain views.
