At Idre Himmelfjäll, Christmas can truly take center stage. You don’t need to book a whole week to celebrate Christmas in the mountains, book exactly the days that suit you! Come for the Christmas holiday, from Wednesday to Saturday, or choose a stay that fits your plans.

A Christmas Filled with Mountain Experiences

Celebrating Christmas in the mountains is about more than skiing. Here there are winter days to fill just the way you want. Build a snowman, go sledding, take a walk in the crisp mountain air, or warm up by the fire while the snow falls outside.

For those longing for skiing, there are a total of 31 runs and 13 lifts, with skiing for the whole family. Start the day with a few runs on the slopes, take a long lunch, and head out again when your legs want a little more. When evening comes, a warm sauna, something tasty to eat, and a cozy evening in the cabin may be waiting.

For the winter season, we are also opening seven brand-new runs and a new 6-seat chairlift. This creates even more opportunities to discover Idre Himmelfjäll on skis. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, more runs, more views, and even more skiing joy await.

Dance around the Christmas Tree with our snow fairy Flinga

Celebrate Christmas with Flinga! On Christmas Eve, join us for dancing around the Christmas tree as we sing and dance together in a festive Christmas atmosphere. Keep an eye out on the slopes too – Flinga will be handing out sweets to all the guests.
