A Break Between Runs
Right next to the 6-chair lift Valhallia Express, you’ll find the slope restaurant Kåtan. Here you can take a break from skiing and enjoy lunch, coffee, or something warm to drink before continuing your day on the slopes.
The restaurant is located in the middle of the ski area, making it a perfect place to gather during the day – whether you want to eat a quick lunch or just warm up for a while between runs.

Fire & Grill Evening at Kåtan
During the winter season, Fire & Grill Evening is held at Kåtan – an atmospheric evening where you gather around the grills by the Valhallia Express six-seater lift.
The evening begins with transport to the restaurant by snowmobile and sled from designated pickup points. Once there, a grill buffet awaits, prepared outdoors and served inside the hut.
The buffet consists of grilled meat, salads, potato side dishes, sauces, whipped butter, and freshly baked bread from the bakery. Drinks that pair perfectly with the grilled food are also available.
The hut is heated with heaters, and blankets are also available to borrow if the cold starts to seep in. Warm winter clothing is recommended during the snowmobile transport.
